It’s Always On, 2026

It’s Always On is an ongoing project rooted in the social club and pub. Predominantly consisting of participatory and interactive works, the project focuses on community in pubs and social clubs, class oppression and the role of play within these spaces and wider society. Mirroring the use of play as a social vehicle in these environments, the works in It’s Always On can be interacted with by the audience through playing them. Many of the photographic works are physically altered through play, becoming both a record and a result of the interaction.
