The East Sussex Association of Play (ESAP) is research group set up in East Sussex, with no boundaries on where the play might take the group. Through field trips, research and development sessions, play is embraced and interrogated in all its forms.

The group held its first meeting at The Thinking Hand exhibition at Volt. Over two days the group explored the area surrounding the gallery to experience first-hand local pub games. The second day saw the group experiment and develop a pub game.

A pub game specific to Eastbourne is currently in development.
